| What is the best book to learn day to day Red Hat for a guy coming over from Cisco?

| Online resources. Tons of info and free. Redhat lists (or did - I don't know if they do anymore know that they are Fedora) their manuals on their website. | |

| I would suggest any study material that helps to prepare you for the LPI exam. Being as vendor neutral as you can is your best bet. Where I work we run 4 distro's of Linux. Each has their place, and If I only learned RedHat I would be somewhat crippled in the other distro's. Good luck to you. | |

| Hi friends,
As per my suggestion try the Redhat Linux Fedora Bible by Wiley pub. is best for anyone. Others are TATA MCgraw Hill books.

| Mastering: Linux Red Hat 9
It's worth looking into getting a copy of this, it's got some really good stuff in it. |
